MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Qualification for Membership
Any person who accepts the policies of the MDP/BAP can become a member provided he/she is not a member of any other party, and by giving membership fee of Re. 100/- to the MDP/BAP Unit within whose jurisdictionhe/she resides
a) Primary member: A person who is of 18 years and paying an annual membership fee of Rs. 100 shall be a primary member.
b) Active member: A primary member of the party, who after one year of his admission to the party has enrolled 25 members and paying an annual active membership fee of Rs. 100/- shall be an Active member.

Application and Declaration
An applicant while applying for membership in a prescribed form shallhave to make the following declaration:

“I volunteer to join the Multidimensional Party MDP of India. I will uphold the Party’s program, abide by the provisions of the Party’s constitution, fulfill the duty of a Party member, carry out the Party’s decisions, strictly observe Party’s discipline, and will always be loyal to the Party. I will work hard, fight for Multidimensionalism throughout my life and prepare myself to sacrifice my all for the Party, for the people, and for the country. I pledge to guard Party secrets and never to betray the Party.”

1. Application of an individual for Party membership must be recommended by two Party members. The Party branch, on finding the applicant eligible for admission to the Party, shall forward the application to the next higher Party committee. The Party committee above the Party branch is empowered to take the final decision regarding the enrolment of a member.

2. A member once expelled from the MDP Party can be readmitted only after getting clearance from the Party committee which had approved the expulsion.

Membership Fee
1. All Party members, as well as candidates, shall pay a Party membership fee of rupees 100, one per year. This annual Party fee shall be paid at the time of admission into the Party and by March-end of each year to the branch or unit secretary by the member concerned. If he or she does not clear the fee in due time his or her name shall be removed from the Party rolls. The Central Committee may extend this date if the circumstances warrant such extension.

2. All-Party fees collected from Party members by Party branches or units will be deposited with the Central Committee through the appropriate Party committees.

The following qualifications are necessary to be a Primary member of the Party.
a) Citizen of India.
b) Physically and mentally sound.
c) Eighteen years old.

The following qualifications are necessary to be an officer of the Party.
a) Graduation any stream/subject.
b) Officers of any organization/society/trust/foundation etc.
c) News reporter, editor, translator, beurochief, journalist, publisher etc.
d) BALLB/LLM, Lawyer, Advisor, consultancy service provider etc.

To be a member of the Regional, Divisional and Central Committee, Cell & Societies of the MDP/BAP, the following qualifications besides the qualification.

a) 21 years old
b) Knowledge of reading and writing.
c) Organisational experience.
d) Primary membership.

e) Participation in any of the following Social activities –
i) Socio, Economic Service.
ii) Linguistic, Art Cultural Activities
iii) Social reforms Communal harmony.

Disqualifications to be a member of the MDP shall be
i) A member of a recognized Political Party other than the MDP.
ii) If declared unwanted by the MDP.
iii) Convicted by a Court of Law.
iv) Failure to discharge duties,
v) Corruption,
vi) Negligence in duties,
vii) Violation of party discipline,
viii) Failure to maintain party Secrecy.


1. On admission to membership, every Active and Associate member shall be issued a membership card.
2. Party membership cards shall be uniform throughout the country and shall be issued by the Central Committee.
3. All such cases of resignations given effect to as expulsion shall beimmediately reported to the next higher Party committee and be subject to the latter’s confirmation.
4. ID card will be issued to all the office bearers of the party, on which the ID number and reference number of the concerned officer will be written which will be unique.

Rights of members
1. (a) Active members -An active member shall have the right to be elected and elect at all levels.
(b) Associate member - An Associate member shall have the right to be elected and elect at the branch levels.
(c) To participate in the activity of the Party, including the activities of different frontal mass organisations and cells, attached to the Party.
(d) To take part in discussion in the Party at appropriate levels for formulation of policies arid programmes of the party.
(e) To make proposals regarding their own work in the Party and to get work assigned to themselves.
(f) In case of a difference with any decision of a Party unit, a member has the Fight to submit his or her opinion, in writing, to the higher committee. In such acase, he/she is to keep the criticism of the decision of the Party Unit within the Party and not to disclose anything outside.
(g) To make criticism about Party units and functionaries in Party meetings and hot to disclose anything outside.
(h) To be heard in person in his or her unit in the Party when the unit discusses disciplinary action against him or her.

Duties of members
The duties of members are as follows:
(a) To participate in the activities of the Party and to faithfully carry out the policy, decisions and the directives of the Party and to pay regularly the levy as fixed by the Party.
(b) To fight for the cause of the toiling masses.
(c) To observe the Party Constitution and Party Discipline.
(d) To study the life and teachings of freedom fighters and the History of Freedom Movement. India, especially revolutionary activities, Indiantraditions, cultures, heritages, contemporary developments on national and international scenes.
(e) To study the basic principles of Scientific Socialism.
(f) To subscribe one of the official party organs; read, support .and popularise Party journals and publications.
(g) To place the interests of the people and the Party above personal interests.
(j) To fight consistently against the forces of secessionism and communalism and to defend the unity and integrity of the nation.
(k) To fight against world capitalist, imperialist and neo-colonial forces.
(1) To fight against obscurantist, Xenophobic and all other reactionary forces.
(m) To fight for social justice and sustainable developments.

Party Membership Records
All membership records shall be kept under the supervision of the District Committee.

Check-up of Party Membership
1. There shall be an annual check-up of Party membership by the Party organization to which the Party member belongs. Any Party member who for a continuous period and without proper reason has failed to take part in Party life and activity or to pay Party dues shall be dropped from Party membership.
2. A report on check-up of Party membership by a Branch or a Party committeeconcerned shall be sent to the next higher committee for confirmation and registration.
3. There shall be right of appeal on decisions of drop page from Party membership.

Party Levy
Every PartyMember must pay a monthly levy as laid down by the Central Committee. Those whose incomes are of annual or of seasonal character have to pay their levy at the beginning of the season or at the beginning of every years on the same percentage basis. If a member has failed to deposit his levy within. A year after it is due, then his name is to be removed from the Party rolls.
